Beauty Advent Calendars 2013

Every year there seems to be a new Beauty Calendar released, and this year there are two! They are a great alternative to chocolate advent calendars, I mean who wouldn’t like opening a door to a little beauty treat every day? Here is a run down of what is available this year, but be quick as they always sell out quickly!

Boots Advent Calendar // £30
Starting with the cheapest one available this year, we have Boots’ first ever beauty advent calendar. This is definitely one of the more affordable calendars and so I can imagine this will sell out very quickly. Inside you will find products worth more than £65, featuring many different brands, including their own, such as Soap & Glory, Nails Inc, Paco Rabanne, Juicy Couture, Rimmel, Mavala, Umberto Giannini and Many More.
Available: Now!

Ciate Mini Advent Calendar // £42
The second cheapest is by Ciate, where you will open the door to a mini nail polish each day! Included are 17 of the best selling shades, 4 mini caviar blends and 3 exclusive glitters that you cannot buy elsewhere. This is always a sell out, so if you would like this I would buy it now!
Available:Now!

Benefit Advent Calendar – Countdown to Love // £50
Another newbie this year is the Benefit Advent Calendar which comes in a show-stopping pop art box. You will find many of their bestsellers, including high beam, coralista and Porefessional, along with a necklace, bracelet and barrette. Stocks are limited so be ready on the 2nd :)
Available: 2nd November

You Beauty Advent Calendar // £59.95
There has not been any information released for this years You Beauty Advent Calendar, however if last year is anything to go by then this will be a good contender. The total content value last year was £210, so this is a great bargain. A little tip however, last year this went down to £29.95 after December, so I think I may hold out for this one!
Available: ??

Selfridges Advent Calendar // £84
Lastly, the most expensive of them all is the Selfridges advent calendar. If you fancy spoiling yourself then this is the one for you. At a whopping £84 you receive many high-end luxurious products, ranging from skin care to make up and fragrance. It includes luxury brands such as Viktor & Rolf, Yves Saint Laurent, Kiehl's and Giorgio Armani to LancĂ´me and Maison Martin Margiela.  Reviews have been varied as it would appear some products are samples that you could pick up from counters for free, so I think I may give this one a miss.
Available: Now (Although currently out of stock!)

Yankee Advent Calendar // £21.99
Alternatively, if you are not after a beauty advent calendar then Yankee Candle have introduced a lovely candle advent calendar.  Every day you will open the door to a tealight in one of their 6 seasonal scents with an extra treat on the 24th!
Available: Now!
Contents: Snow In Love, Balsam & Cedar, Merry Marshmallow, Red Apple Wreath, Snowflake Cookie, Sparkling Cinnamon

I definitely want to try and get my hands on one this year, possibly the Boots or Benefit calendar! Which are you hoping to buy?

  3. I would really like to get one, but none of them is avaliable in my country, unfortunatelly. I really like the sound of the Benefit one, because I've always wanted to try out some of their products but never wanted to splurge on the full sizes. :)

  4. I really would like the Ciate advent calendar this year as I missed out last year. The only down side is it is quite pricey x

  8. There's such a big selection this year! I think I'm the only beauty blogger sticking to my chocolate calendar this year, although perhaps I'd get one on sale after December if there's any left! :) x
